Professor of Dance at Collin County Community College since 2004, before arriving at Collin, she served as adjunct dance faculty for Texas Woman's University, Tarrant County College, and University of North Texas and was faculty & choreographer for Denton Dance Conservatory. Mrs. Figueroa completed her MFA studies in choreography and dance performance at Texas Woman's University, where she also taught Modern, Jazz, Hip-hop, Pilates classes as well as theory courses related to the understanding of dance as an art form and popular, visual culture. She was honored to receive the Outstanding Performer award and the first ever offered Outstanding Leadership award, for the Dance Department. From 1998-2001, Lesley served as co-choreographer, assistant to the artistic director and a performer for The Butterfly Project, a bay-area performance group whose mission is promoting the empowerment of Women. The Butterfly Project formed at Mills College of Oakland, California where Mrs. Figueroa completed her undergraduate degrees, a BA in Dance and a BA in Business Economics. Her love for movement and fitness lead her to become a Certified Pilates Trainer through Colleen Glenn's PeakPilates System. Lesley has also studied the Power Pilates System and does her continuing education through the Traditional Pilates community. Mrs. Figueroa's choreography has been presented in 6 states, by 8 universities & colleges and numerous festivals including: Jazz Dance World Congress, International Dance Festival of NYC, Spelman College, University of Central Oklahoma, St. Mary's College Repertory Dance Company, Perpetual Motion of OKC, Continuum One, Mills College Repertory Dance Company, Stephen F. Austin University, Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival, NYC DUMBO Dance Festival, Montereys Emerging Choreographers Festival, Dallas Morning News Dance Festival, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, TWU DanceMakers, Denton Summer Musicals, DanceExpress, TWU DanceWorks, Fort Worth Dance Festival, South Dallas Dance Festival, Barefoot Brigade, Collin College's Dance Fusion and Tarrant County College Dance Collective.

Amy L. Sleigh earned an MFA in Dance from Texas Woman's University, a BA in Dance from Slippery Rock University, and an A.S.B. Paralegal Degree from Bradford Business School, Pittsburgh. Ms. Sleigh is an Associate Professor of Dance at Tarrant County College Northwest. She has held positions as adjunct faculty for dance programs at Texas Christian University, University of North Texas, University of Pittsburgh, and LaRoche College. Ms. Sleigh presented a workshop "Studying the Choreographic Process" at the Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She has taught contact partnering, choreography, and modern dance master classes for South Central American College Dance Festival Association. In 1999, Amy presented a dance work for the performance installation presented during the "Warhol & Dance: Watching from the Wings"visual arts exhibit at the Andy Warhol Museumin Pittsburgh, PA. Ms. Sleigh has performed solo work in various venues in the Pittsburgh area such as "Unblurred" produced by Pittsburgh Arts Council, "To Be Continued..." produced by Mark Taylor and the Dance Alloy, and was a guest artist for SRU's Faculty Dance Concert. Amy served as the Production Coordinator for TWU's Programs in Dance and received the department's Service Award as well as honors in Who's Who and the National Dean's List. Amy teaches Modern Dance, Composition, Concert Choreography, Dance Appreciation, Pilates and Yoga. While in Texas her work has been presented by Johnson Long Dance Company-Austin, Beckles Dance Company-Dallas, Contemporary Dance Fort Worthand Perpetual Motion-Oklahoma City, OK.
